In September 2006, Todd Vonderheid, director of strategy for RenewPA, met with Young Erie Professionals (YEP) at the Safari Grille in Millcreek Township. Sponsored by the Erie Community Foundation and presented by RenewPA, the event gathered approximately 35 young professionals and community leaders to discuss trends occuring in northwestern Pennsylvania, such as employment, education, housing affordability, and governance issues, as well as leadership opportunities for YEP members.
