Regional Initiatives
Along with a goal of advancing statewide policy reforms, Renew Pennsylvania also works with community leaders who want to change their future. Throughout Pennsylvania, community leaders are working on improving their core communities, preserving their open space and farms lands, and targeting public investment. Two of the state’s most active regional efforts are in York and the Lehigh Valley.
Metro-York is seeking a 21st Century model for the delivery of municipal and public school programs and services in the Metro-York region, as well as a revenue system capable of sustaining the model.
Renew Lehigh Valley is focused on bringing the valley’s 28 different water and sewer systems together to leverage assets and more smartly invest its resources.
